What is Teeth Cleaning?
A teeth cleaning, also known as dental prophylaxis, is a routine procedure aimed at removing plaque and tartar buildup from the surfaces of your teeth. Plaque is a sticky film of bacteria that adheres to teeth and gums and contributes to cavities and gum disease if not removed regularly.
